Some disagreement in sources as to whether this is a Brooks or Schenectady product. Nevertheless, it served the Boston & Maine until it was scrapped in 1953. Specs - class K-8a, superheated, 61" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine weight of 211,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,342 lb.
