Description:  After running on the PA side since Narrowsburg, a necessity due to the lack of places to site a right of way on the NY side for the Erie at the time it was built, NTV 4 crosses the well know Mill Rift bridge across the Delaware, landing it back in NY at Sparrow Bush. Description:  Except for the NYSW unit leading. Even a year into the CP operation of the D&H, NYSW power still showed up on a variety of trains that were not the normal stack train run throughs from Jersey to Buffalo. Here we have one of the B 40s leading 309 with three more units and 42 cars, coming through BX into East Binghamton from Mechanicville. There are two notable units in the consist. PLM 3041 is one of the EMD 645 engine test bed units, and trailing is one of the few RS 36's left on the roster, 5023.

Description:  The semaphore at 247-2 was easy to access, as it was close to the road, and there was a driveway to the MOW road, which was the old LV line. On a nice day it was a great shot with the blade against the blue sky. Heres 261X with 45 TOFC behind a GATX lease unit rolling west past the signal.
