Album Info:Went up to Brantford early in the morning to see what was going on. Upon our arrival Via 919 lead a passenger train into the station. There was track work being done between Hardy Road and Massey's, so there were a few slow orders and continuous bell and horn sounding around workers. After 919 left Via 6449 arrived for a station stop. Via 6449 is one of the old Via F40PH's that are being rebuilt. CN 5722 followed closely behind 6449, he had two units trailing. They were CN 5782 and CN 5660, CN 5782 had a side panel open. Within five minutes of CN 5722 clearing Brantford CN 2715 went through on the North track with CN 5515 and CN 8925 trailing. CN 8925 looked fairly new. CN 2712 was leading the next freight to arrive it had CN 8918 another new SD70M-2 trailing, in their consist were some Maine Central boxcars. After 392 cleared CN 580 left to switch Masseys. In the yard there is a cut of gondolas that are full of railway ties, they were being unloaded by two boom trucks. From 8:45 to 10:30 I saw three freights and two Vias. It was a very busy morning at Brantford.
