Title:  CN 0-6-0 #7411 - Canadian National
Description:  Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in 1920, CN 0-6-0 #7411 yard switrcher (serial #1650) was caught by Al Peterson as it was shuffling cars in the Saskatoon yard. The little switcher worked for nearly 38 years before meeting the scrapper's torch in August of 1958.

CN 4-6-4 #5702 - Canadian National
Title:  CN 4-6-4 #5702 - Canadian National
Description:  Looking very "European" with the curved elephant ear smoke detectors, Canadian National 4-6-4 Hudson #5702 led a good life. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1930, it was saved from the scrapper's torch and donated to donated to the Canadian Historical Rwy Association in September of 1960 where it is on display. Specs - serial #68396, K-5-a class, tall 80" drivers, impressive 275 psi boiler pressure, 23x28" cylindeers, engine weight of 356,400 lb and tractive effort of 43,279 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo.

Description:  Beautiful action shot of Canadian National 4-8-4 #6211 near Oakville, Ontario, heading up a crack varnish. The loco was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in July of 1942 (serial #69709). Canadian National preferred to call the 4-8-4 wheel configuration a "Confederation" rather than the conventional "Northern" type steam locomotive. scrapped 3/1960 Specs - 73" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 25.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 400,300 lb and tractive effort of 56,786 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo but it appears to be a Dick George photo.

Title:  CN 4-84 #6215 - Canadian National
Description:  Great action shot of Canadian National 4-8-4 #6215 heading up a crack varnish train. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in August of 1942 (serial #69713), the loco lasted for only 19 years before being shoved off the roster by diesels and assigned to the scrapper's torch. The CN called this 4-8-4 wheel configuration a "Confederation" rather than the US designation as a "Northern". Specs - 73" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 25.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 400,300 lb and tractive effort of 56,786 lb. Dick George photo No location was given for the photo.
