This view shows the south or other side of the metal building, near the LNAC office in Corydon, IN. The brown sign has the word "RESTROOMS" painted in a yellow or gold color. The door on the white, concrete block building appears to be able to slide, and is it made of corrugated metal? I don't see a handle, though. |

I was able to snag a photo of the other side of this sideframe, a couple of years ago. Note the compressed spring on the left end, the board holding up the piece of the sideframe in the middle, and the non-compressed spring on the right. This whole assembly is resting on a few pieces of wood. |

This is the front view (or rear view?) of an AAR Type A truck. I don't know what the 5548 means on the piece in front, but I'm guessing the 6-55 is the built date. There is another set of numbers, starting with 15, on the extreme right edge, but I couldn't see the last numbers due to the shadow. Note the traction motor cables, brake cylinders, and brakeshoe clasps. The very rusty wheels tell me this truck hasn't seen an engine in quite some time. Info: I did not set foot on railroad property to take any of these photos. |
