Old box
This ex NYC box was being used as storage at Waterbury in the early days of Conrail. At the time, CR was still running the commuter trains out of Grand Central under contract, as well as freight service in southern New England. That would change in a couple of years, withlocal freight work south of the Boston Line going to the Boston & Maine, now Pan Am Railways, and the commuters going to Metro North.
