| NS 4067 is the second unit on Z-PTLCHC as it departs Wenatchee. In three days, 4067 will be in Chicago. 4067 was originally a GE C40-9, built in early 1995. In mid 2017, the unit was rebuilt into its current form as an AC44C6M, complete with a new number and safety cab. EDIT: On December 20, 2022, 4067 was the lead unit on a Norfolk Southern train that struck a truck in Collegedale, TN. Both crew members were hospitalized and later released in short order. |
