Built by Baldwin in 1910 as Southern Rwy 2-8-0 Consolidation #790, the loco served the Southern Rwy until the diesel era pushed it out. All 318 class Ks 2-8-0 locos were retired by 1953. On the back of the photo were the specs after the 1921 rebuild - serial #35481, Ks class, 57" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 22.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 213,000 lb, tractive effort of 47,000 lb.
