| They split the train, pulled the first half in, ran the power around, then pulled it back out, shoved it out of the way on the main west (photo left) of the switch, then pulled the other half in. This must be so they can get one section of the train on each of the two loading tracks, and already have the power run around to the east end for the trip back (since there are no additional tracks in the Pit). |
