| Norfolk Southern C44-9W units 9099 (serial no. 49758, April 1997) and 9083 (49742, April 1997) were parked at the north end of the Wabtec/GE test tract, about three miles north of the builder’s Fort Worth plant. The locomotives were here to be remanufactured into AC44C6M units. |
