PRR 5893, EP-22, 1965
Spruce Creek. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Spruce Creek, Pennsylvania, on 10 July 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #5893, #5852-B, and #5796. All were built by EMD. #5893 is an EP-22 built in 1950 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #5852-B is an EP-20 built in 1947 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. #5796 is an EP-22 built in 1952 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. They are pulling a 14-car eastbound passenger train. "Next Stop: Huntingdon!"
