PC HOLLY Block, 1972
Holly. Here is an original photo that I took of Penn Central Railroad real estate in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, during March of 1972. Shown here is the PCs' ground-level signal marking the limit of HOLLY Block. In this photo, the tracks occupy the original right-of-way for the Allegheny Portage Railroad between Hollidaysburg and Duncansville in the distance. The Hollidaysburg Passenger Station is visible just beyond the crossing gates, but the telephone box is no longer extant!
