| Via Rail Canada train 3, the Super Continental, waits for a signal at Mission Jct BC on 4 July 1988. As I recall, this train was taking a detour over the CP into Vancouver and was away from its normal CN routing into the city. This is during the short five-year period where the train ran west only from Winnipeg. |
