Long before a GP30 wore the number 701, this 1904 Alco-Schenectady Pacific had the honor of wearing it for the Minneapolis, St Paul & Sault Ste Marie Rwy. Specifics - H-1 class, 69" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 20x26" cylinders, engine weight of 202,00 lb, tractive effort of 23,701 lb, superheated in 1920.
