| C&O 3000, the class unit, heads west in the former C&O yard at Huntington, WV. Date is uncertain. Unit has received a fresh "Chessie System" paint scheme. Note the horns (a set on each side of the headlight), battery box slot (allegedly to prolong battery life by providing easier cleaning); and large Chessie logo which nearly covers the entire nose. |
