MKT 4-6-2 #391 - Missouri-Kansas-Texas  Contributor's Pick!       
Here is a fine example of a Alco-SchenectadyPacific type locomotive built in June of 1917 and getting the once over scan by a crew member. The white walled wheels give it a sharp looking appearance. It served for nearly 36 years before being scrapped in october of 1953. Specs - class H-3b, 73" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight 272,000 lb, tractive effort of 42,791 lb. No exact date given for this photo.bert Hale photo
