William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks everyone, I have visited W&LE in the early 90's, but only have 1 shot of them, I caught a local with 1 GP35, if I remember correctly it was still in old N&W or Southern Railway paint with W&LE letters on the side. It's my 1st visit with the newer W&LE scheme & SD40-2's, I don't remember if they even had SD40-2's in the early 90's, I'll visit the W&LE again, this was just a brief familiarization trip with a friend of mine & we got lucky that they ran 2 trains right as we got to Bellevue, Ohio. I wasn't expecting to see much working on Sunday, I know of at least 4 train movements that day. 1 in Akron, 1 in Brewster, 2 in Bellevue & saw a BNSF coal train tied down at Brewster of which was not accessible to get a shot. I'm glad I was able to catch the 2 W&LE trains I got to shoot at Bellevue 9/20/2011 5:16:06 PM

William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Fred, It's been a while since I've been to Ohio to shoot trains, probably since the mid 90's 9/20/2011 6:32:14 PM

William H. Davis Jr. General Same here John, I was just hoping to see something tied down somewhere, but luckily they ran 2 trains, Thanks 9/21/2011 4:36:34 PM
Alex Vaughn General Nice catch! I like the W&LE's power. 9/22/2011 12:06:37 PM
William H. Davis Jr. General Thanks Alex, Same here, it's as close to the former D&RGW as you can get & also they still have 2 SD40T-2's still in full D&RGW paint, but unfortunately I never saw those, W&LE's paint scheme was inspired by the D&RGW, obviously 9/22/2011 12:15:08 PM
